Comprehensive NDIS Support
Tailored To Your Goals
At Self Plus Plus, we take a holistic approach to help you achieve your goals. We like to work in conjunction with other support workers and professionals you’re working with, instead of being siloed away.
This allows us to get to know your strengths and areas you need extra support in, so we can help you develop strategies with the best chance of success.
We are selective about the people we work with. We only work with people who we can actually help out, have the right attitude and are willing to put in the effort to achieve their goals.

Case Studies
Challenge
When we first met Liam, he was a 19-year-old young man who relied heavily on his parents for his day-to-day needs. He had a strong desire to become more independent but lacked the necessary skills and confidence to make this transition.
Approach
To help Liam achieve his goal of independence, we designed a personalised 1:1 support program focusing on building various domestic skills. Our approach included:
- Cooking: Teaching Liam how to plan, prepare, and cook meals.
- Cleaning: Guiding him through the process of maintaining a clean and organised living space.
- Time Management: Helping him develop routines and manage his time effectively.
We worked closely with Liam to set clear, achievable goals and break down each task into manageable steps. Our sessions were structured to allow him to learn at his own pace, with plenty of opportunities to make mistakes and learn from them. Reassurance and encouragement were key components of our strategy, ensuring Liam felt supported throughout his journey.
Outcome
Through consistent effort and dedication, Liam made remarkable progress. He has successfully moved into a granny flat, where he now lives independently from his parents. This significant step has not only boosted his confidence but has also empowered him to set new goals for the future.
Liam is now planning to move out of the granny flat and into his own apartment, a testament to his hard work and the effectiveness of our support program. His story is an inspiring example of how tailored, compassionate support can lead to meaningful and lasting independence.

Liam’s journey highlights the transformative power of personalised support and skill-building. At Self Plus Plus, we are committed to helping individuals like Liam achieve their goals and lead fulfilling, independent lives. Our team is dedicated to providing the encouragement, reassurance, and practical skills needed to make independence a reality.
